Sustainable tourism is that which balances the economic, social and environmental impacts of the tourism sector, meeting the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and the host communities.
At Las Musas, we are committed to sustainable tourism. Therefore, we have implemented a series of measures to reduce the negative impacts of our operations and support the sustainable development of the communities where we are present.
These measures are based on three main policies:
1. Continuous improvement and balance between the three pillars of sustainability. We work to improve the positive impacts of our tourism, such as job creation and the promotion of local culture, and reduce negative impacts, such as pollution and the impact on natural resources.
2. Environmental protection. We are committed to preserving biodiversity and preventing pollution of our destinations. To do this, we integrate the landscape into our facilities, respect flora and fauna, and promote responsible waste management.
3. Responsible management. We strive to be a profitable, responsible and innovative company. To do this, we adopt sustainable practices in all areas of our activity, from resource management to our relationship with our employees and suppliers.
